Hello guys,

I am new to car stereo installation. I just installed my deck and was wondering what the 2 rca plug things are at the back? I am guessing they are for the amp but i am not sure.

Installation on my car was a real pain, and i should maybe set up the amp wires before i put everything back on.

They are outputs for you amplifiers. Front and rear. Brian

and would i need any other wires for the amp coming out of the cd deck? Such as power, etc..

You will need your remote turn on lead from your radio to turn on and off the amp.

in response to connecting your RCA cables you need to consider what kind of amp or amps you will be using. I would go with a 4-channel...it's really eay to set up. If you wanted to get fancy with it, and you know what you're doing, you could try a signal processor with a 4-channel or two 2-channels, but for simplicity's sake, go for the 4-channel.

Exactly what speakers do you have, and what head unit are we talking about here?
