It's been a while since I've last posted, but I've basically had enough of my current setup. The Audiobahn Flame Q's, with the audiobahn 1800 watt class D amp just isn't cutting it anymore. They're great for SPL, but SQ is horrible, the 5 cu.ft. box takes up all of my truck's space, and the amp is really taxing the charging system (Which is brand new and upgraded).
I want to do it right this time. The last I visited these forums, there were only 3 real choices for high quality subwoofers, that supply both SQ and SPL: The W7, the Brahma, and the XXX.
How are these 3 products doing today? Are they still the top choice, and equal to eachother in every way (as they were once said to be, besides in price?) Which would you choose?
Also, as you can probably already tell, I haven't been keeping up with the new products. What's looking good for amps to mate these monsters to?

Welcome back. Yes, those are still good choices. Also good choices in the same ball park would be Eclipse Titanium, Diamond, higher-end Memphis, Focal, IDMAX from Image Dynamics, JBL GTI series, and I recently heard a really nice sounding Cadance system. There are others, I'm sure. These are off the top of my head. Time to go shopping! ------------- Support the12volt.com
