I recently purchased a '06 Chevy Crew cab with the Bose factory system. Problem is I want to connect my Sirius ALP1 adaptor and was wondering if I need another antenna extension or can I make it work with the XM antenna on the truck already. Also I had my IVA 900 DVD installed, but the sound was crappy. I then decided to install a four channel amp to give the speakers mor juice, but it mainly sounds like I got a couple of 3.5's installed. Doesn't really sound good at all. Should I run new speaker wires? Get new Speakers? What can I possibly do to make this thing sound somewhat to what it did coming off the lot? Sorry for the long winded post.....

well since you have the bose system you need to replace your speakers because each speaker is amplified by its self so replace the speakers and you will be good.

One thing I learned was to never buy a new car with a Bose or other "premium" system.  I know you don't want to take out the complete Bose system, but...

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I believe the XM tuner is behind the glove box.
