I was wondering did anyone know about amps, i have a 1500 mono rockford fosgate power punch and it just stopped playing. The protect light came on and it stays on. I opened it up but i did not see anything in the inside that was burnt. Is there anyway I can cut the protect light off, does anybody know?

Disconnect the rca cables and the speaker wires from the amp. Turn the stereo off and then back on. If the units protection light stays on then there is a internal fault with the amplifier and it needs to go for service. If the light goes off, plug in the rca cables next and retest again. Finally test the speaker wires.
