Egg cartons are for acoustic absorbsion in a room ( ** this is also a myth by the way..... it really doesn't do anything for you aside from the frequency of spoken words  ** ). Never heard of it being used for an enclosure.

I have..... We use a product called Bassline in our ported enclosures and it definitely makes a difference. I'll send you some Jeff. Spray glue it on, then secure with 6 1/2" screws. Line all sides of the box except for the baffle board.
