What in the hell does someone actually do with this amp? I cant see it being esspecially usefull in any place but an SPL competion car. As well, has anyone ever seen an 1100 amp fuse like what they recomend? Thats like taking a piece of friggin backstrap and putting it in as a fuse. This thing is just rediculous

Just use about an inch of 4 ga.

I want to know where they found PCB material with copper foil thick enough.

For whatever reason when I copy and paste the link it doesnt work, strange. If you go to Ebay and check for the most expensive thing under car electronics you'll see a Hi-Fonics XXMAXXIMUS amp that claims to be 10,000 watts RMS at 2 ohms and they recomend and inline fuse of 1100 amps. Sorry about the link thing though

Apparently, amp manufacturers think ridiculouslly huge amps are the wave of the future, Rockford also has a 15 kilowatt amp that retails for 20 grand, and that is all they have been showing off at there shows. We saw it at CES and MERA. Like that amp will do retailers any good.

If Steve Mantz, John Fairchild or Robert Zeff designed and built this amp I would believe the numbers! Being a Maxxsonic's product doesn't inspire confidence.

Someone will buy it, just like the MTX Jackhammer and the Rockford amp jstuckman mentioned.

well, it's only 4grand.  Anyone want to buy it and see?  And are there any 1ohm subs that can handle 10k watts?

One throws it back in the recycling bin where it belongs or once came from.

Here's another great waste of $$$:

Has anyone tested this thing to see if the numbers are anywhere near accurate? Are any Audiobahn Amps CEA-2006 compliant?

earthquake  is advertising the 20,000 watt 20000WD powerhouse amp.  (question: are they as good as they were as in the mid 90's?

and the rockford 15.000 watt amp claims to break ohms law since maximium current is 350 amp.       with a small price tag of $20.000.00 msrp, who cant afford to buy 1 or 12
