I just added a 401S Rockford Amplifier (1200 Watts), and there are no fuses or a place to put them on the out side of the amp...I guess they are under the lid, but that would void my warrenty. I would really like to know the what size fuse or amps its drawing so i can place a proper size inline fuse from the battery. Any ideas?
Its a 96 sunfire. Also running a sony HU, Xplode500watt 4 channel amp, 2 kenwood 120watt speakers, and the rockford is on a 1000watt MTX thunder

Those series of Rockfords did not have fuses, they came with an external fuse holder that was suposed to be placed near the amp. If I remeber correctly that amp had a max draw of 40 amps however its been a while since I installed one.
