I need instructions on how to connect an amplifier to the stock headunit in a 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora. Is this possible, or do i have to buy an aftermarket cd player and rewire everything?

You can connect a line output converter to the factory speaker wires, and use an accessory wire for your amp turn on lead.
