Hi guys, I'm new to the car audio scene but i understand all the principles of ohms and resistance etc. I will soon be inheriting a 2001 Holden JackarooSE 4WD when i turn 17 So im hoping to install an awesome audio system in it. I know you guys are preety knowlegable with car audio and i hold respect for some of the jobs i have seen you guys install in your rides.
I have been doing a fair bit of looking online and in audio stores but i would like the opinion of some of you guys. I would like you guys to suggest ideas for a full system comprising of: Source unit, 1 or 2 subs, fared capacitor, Amplifier(s) and coaxial system. Im hoping for a system between $AU2000-$AU2500. It would be great if you guys could quote me the prices of each piece in $US or $AU.
Thanks guys i will really appreciate your ideas and suggestion

You would probably be better off finding a local car audio shop and checking their gear out and figuring out what it is that you want.
You probably won't need a cap. Do a search in this forum and find out what people think about caps. Do you also have any brand loyalty of any type and do you want it to sound good or be loud?

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
Head into Northfield Marooka or FHRX studios as they will be far more familiar with this vehicle and what may fit in it. When you find out what can fit, then we will be happy to make some suggestions for you.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
I don't have any real brand loyalty as such but i really like Rockford Fosgate and Fusion looks preety top shelf aswell...

There are so many options and brands that you could go with that it would be rediculous to list any! (eliminate the cap idea)
A local car audio shop would be the best way to help you out. They could get you a system that you like and within your price range.
