I just bought a new mofo 15, dual voice coils.  How many ohms should i wire it to? My amp is 1 ohm stable (Kenwood KAC-9152D) . Is there any advatages to wireing it down to 1 ohm instead of 2 or 4? If anybody could help, I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.

you can wire it at 4 ohm or 1 ohm, you can't wired it at 2 ohm, it's a dual 2ohm sub. you can only if you wire one coil, but that's not recommended. that amp is 500 wrms at 4ohm, 900 wrms at 2 and 1 ohm, wire it at 1 ohm so you get 900 wrms. the advantage is that at 4 ohm an amp will run cooler compare if it run at 1ohm. posted_image

yeah, no advantage for the sub, but there is for the amp. what type of amp is it? Some say they can go down to 1ohm, but it wouldnt be ideal.
