I am trying to run a pair of 6x9s 75rms hooked straight into the headunit. The headunit only puts out around 15w rms. I`m trying to find any alternatives to buying another amp. My car has a factory amp installed in the trunk, I know this is a farshot but is it possible to install the new speakers into that amp and have an adequate power supply?

Just because your speakers are rated at 75 watts does not mean you have to feed them that much.  Go ahead and hook them up, and if you're not happy with the results, buy another amp.
