I just installed an old pioneer super tuner III in a 1996 nissan pickup. I identified the dimmer and illumination wires from the vehicle, but no matter what I do, I can't get the dash lights to work. I only have one illumination wire coming out of the stereo. I'm new at this, so any help would be appreciated. BTW, I have checked all the fuses, and they are good. Thanks.

If you can't find a blown fuse inside the passenger compartment or under the hood, check the operation of the dimmer switch.
