I am deciding on a new system, and have picked out the following components:
Pioneer avic-z1
JL Audio 8"inch sub 8w3v2
4" mb quart reference in rear(fits stock location)
6.5" MB quart seperates up front
Memphis Belle 5-channel 600 watt
Any critiques appreciated; my main question is that based on the JL site, the amp may be too strong for this single, shallow 8" woofer...Any help appreciated...

Look also at the AVI shallow mount 10". My opinion of any Pioneer head unit and a known internal ground plane issue, well, I would consider the Eclipse double din nav unit.
