I have install  a sony stereo unit in a car one year ago now came back ,

radio stations sound and sudenly it goes away and  static follows turn unit off and tuner comes back temporary and goes away,again I check antenna it's plug in and don't know what to do.

Sony crap, sounds to me like the radio could be going. Is it still under warrenty?

Well my advice swap it out with a test radio, if that one works fine the sony deck is done.
