Hi all,

Maybe some of you can help me. I have a chevy equinox and I need to install 2 way components that uses 2 passive crossovers on each side (4 xover total), so I need to run 2 speaker wires for each door (front only) all the way to the back. What would be the best way to run these wires, I've checked the current factory setup and seems like the speaker wires connects to some kind of connector.

Can somebody here shed some light .. :)

Thanks,

Drill holes, protect the wires from pinches, find natural hiding conduits...run the wires.  You won't be using connectors, use a continuous length of wire.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

By the sounds of it the factory door speaker wires are terminated in a molex in the door jamb. You have to go through this molex. One way to do it is to remove the factory speaker wires and drill the holes out or find a set of unused pins and drill them out. In either case if you have a molex connector, you are going to be inventing a way to get through it. You will have to drill both sides of the molex, the side going into the car and the side going into the door.
