I have a customer that has a Jeep Wrangler. He wants to add a small amp to the factory radio. I don't do a lot of radio/amp hook ups. There are no RCA outputs on his radio. Can someone shed some light on how to wire up the amp to the factory radio and any parts that might come in handy for the hook up?

Thanks,
David

You need a line output converter.  Something like THIS ONE.  I don't know if that is the best one to use, but I was just giving you an idea.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

You can also look for an amp with high level inputs. Basically t of of the rear speaker wires (sound bar?) and some amps will even turn on when voltage is detected at these wires so you don't need a remote turn on wire. I generally use the line out converters myself just wanted to give you another option.
