Recently we took an Orion 600D amp out of my car and put it in my brothers' car. When we hooked it up, the output was very weak. The subs were not really even moving. The subs are Performance Teknique dual 4ohm. They are wired in parallel to present a 1 ohm load. the highs are playing fine. When we put the subs and amp back in my car, it works perfectly. When my brother put his 190 watt DEI mono amp back in his car, the subs hit. So we put another amp in my brothers car and tested it, once again the output was very weak, but when we disconnected the highs amp, the subs hit. What could be causing this. Could it be a power issue. I was thinking bad preouts but the DEI mono amp works perfectly in the car. The DEI is just 200watts and the Orion and the Crossfire amps are both 600 wattsrms. Please Help

Did you set the gains and adjust everything on the Orion amp?

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

Yes the gains are set properly.

When you move an amp from one car to another, the gain must be reset to match the head unit output.  Every one is different.
