I have a 2003 chevy cavalier and i want to put my radio in the front pocket in front of the cup holder and have it hide away and motor up so that it gives it a steath look can anyone help me i need a parts list and a how to list

To do this would require EXTENSIVE modification to the dash and in behind it as well as extending the dash down to the center console. Are you SURE you want to do this.

How's about a trunk monkey instead. He'll work for banana's and can provide countless hours of entertainment and vehicle security. Otherwise, see you next year when you get started on what could be a cool project.

Whats really funny is I just got done seeing the other thread about the trunk monkey and it seems like we are the only 2 that knew what it was. Mabye its a Canadian thing.

We are being silly, but this is going to be a really hard project. Have you considered other ways to hide your head unit?

take the paperwork out, put it in a folder, and store it under the seat, or wherever you find a strategic spot that suits your needs. The install might take some fabrication, but not near as much as a rotating deal. only thing is you have to reach to change CD's.
