I have a rf t5002 amp w/ 2 phoenix gold octane-r10d subwoofers.Subs are mounted in a sealed downfiring box under the rear seat.(2005 f150 supercrew).Amp is rated (rms)75x2 at 4 ohms/150x2 at 2 ohms/250x2 at 1 ohm/300x1 at 4 ohms bridged/500x1 at 2 ohms bridged.Speakers are 4 ohm dual voice coil w/ 250w rms power handling each.I want high spl.Which wiring method is best?PLEASE explain why.Thanks in advance.
It's not your BEST option...it's your ONLY option. Either that or put a sub (coils wired in parallel) onto each channel, same output. You could go for more output with SVC 4 ohm woofers. See woofer wiring to the left <<<<<<<

Thanks Stevdart.I seem to be confusing myself!The only option(speakers wired paralel w/ voice coils in series )= 150w per speaker.The other option would be voice coils wired parallel w/1 speaker on each channel= 150w per speaker.Do you mean same output in watts?Should i bridge the amp or hook up each channel individually?Are there pros/cons to either method?Also,there is a 12 or 24db slope switch on amp.Where should i set this at?Thanks again for your time and patiance.
Wiring, whether it's the subs together and then bridged to the amp, or whether it's each sub to a channel largely plays into how it's most convenient in your particular setup. If the subs each have their own enclosure it might be more convenient to wire them to the amp separately. Read through some former threads for some opinions. Here are a few:

The 24 db slope is the sharpest cutoff and is usually chosen for the cleanest transition to the midbass speakers. It is a higher order crossover than the 12 db and generally works best when choosing the lowpass for the sub. You can try both and pick which one gives you the best overall sound.
