basicaly i want good brands and good models for amps and subs.

I am looking to upgrade my amps, I have 2 profile amps at the moment. I want an amp with great SQ and "real watts". Problem being i only know for sure of a couple amps like this, any Mcintosh, and the old black and grey fosgate amps.

Any good brands or models out there? Looking for an amp to push sub/subs first, at the moment i have a fosgate T1, 12 dvc 2 ohm. 600 rms but how every one talks on here i have no idea what its really    rated at.  I also would like some good subs, i am thinking about getting a Cerwin Vega Stroker, or Stroker pro, but they need LOTS of juice. I want good SQ, and of course get a little loud.

Good amps w/ "real" watts:  JL Audio (not their "e" series!) MTX, Diamond, JBL, Memphis.  There are lots more, those are just off the top of my head.

Good SQ subs:  JL Audio w6v2 ,MTX Thunder 8500 and 9500, Diamond D9's, Memphis M-Class (entry level sub, sounds ok).  Those are just some major name brands.  Again there are lots of others. I don't think the Fosgate you have is geared towards SQ, I think it's just supposed to be loud.
