If you wire a DVC subwoofer in parallel and then run it to an amp bridged is the total load 2 ohms or 1 ohm? Does bridging two channels of an amp drop the impedence? For example if you wire a 4 ohm SVC subwoofer on a two channel amp bridged does it lower the total load to the amp 2 ohms?

It depends on the subwoofers.  What is the impedance of the woofer?

The impedance does not "drop," it is what it is.  But by placing a single load across two equal amplifier channels, each channel will be loaded by 1/2 the total impedance.  So, if a 4-ohm load is placed across both channels of a 2-channel amp, each channel will be loaded with 2-ohms.
