I want to buy a good set of RCA cables for my car audio system. can anyone here outline the main features i should be looking for when purchasing?

Look for good quality construction and long enough to reach in your application.  Do not fall for the hype of super-expensive cables.  My favorites these days come from Knukoncepz.

I will agree with DYohn.   I just purchased all my wiring through KnuKoncpetz.  They had a good selection at some of the cheapest prices.  Shipped out fast too.

I wonder that myself.  Does the shielding have anything to due with being like a faraday cage?  That would be my guess but I'm definately no expert.  I'm sure someone here can give a knowledgeable answer...
