hi all.

my question is concerning the above mentioned head unit.  the product literature states the usb connection is "USB Interface (Type A, 1.0m Pigtail)"  can someone please explain to me what exactly that means?  on other players the usb plugs right in to the face, but i'm guessing the kenwood has a usb connection cable coming out of the rear??  then you have to run that connection somewhere accessable maybe?

i could be totally wrong, but i cannot see where the usb plugs in the face/front from the pics i have found of this h/u

thanks.

What their telling you is the usb connector is standard "A" type attached to a 3.28 foot cord comming out the back of the unit.  Allows mounting of usb unit in most glove boxes.
