I have one, I like it it looks cool. I also have a 250 amp alt and 2 1000amp batts. The big ho alt is what you need first. Then worry about battcaps. Read the stickies above it will give you all the info you need. Read "the big 3".

what model do you have and does the volts still drop ???

I have the BatcapX400. No cause I have a 250amp ho alt. The batcap is just for show, It sounds the same with or without. It looks cool the way I have it installed next to the amps with the blue and silver 4awg wires.
