+ or - wire

Well fellas i am going to hook up my system into 4 ohm mono well do i use a + or - wire when hookin the right side of the top voice coil to the right side of the other voice coil on the bottom? Would i use a + on both subs or what? here is the diagram i am using!

There is no such thing as a "+" or a "-" wire.  Wire is wire.

If your worried about the colour, red is positive and black is negative. Wiring isn't polorised so it dosen't matter what you use as long as the phase is right.

I always try to have some neutral wire on hand for situations like this.  You'll find neutral wire in the center aisle, halfway down in the middle.

Maybe caps will help: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE WIRE.  There is just wire.  There are many insulation colors, but for speakers there is NO color standard that means anything.  Just use any old wire, the point is to make the correct connections.

Red for positive and black for negative is only true in vehicle electrical systems at the battery.  And again, this only refers to the insulation color convention.  Wire does not care.

Its just on the wire so you can distinguish between wires. Don't worry about it. As long as you can tell which side you hooked up to neg and to positive your golden.
