i have a set of 6x9 (693i kappa infinity). I was wondering if you could surround these with a box similar to a sub box, in order to bring out the lower end frequencies.

Let us know your thoughts on this.

You can put 6x9's in a box. Yes it will enhance the lower freq's. I would also add an amp to them for whatever they are rated at rms.
