My battery went dead in my 02' F-150 and being oem (4 1/2 years old) it wasn't much of a suprise.  What was a suprise was when I replaced it I noticed that my amp, a Rockford 1000d, was no longer hitting as hard as it was before the battery went dead.  Before I could have had the volume at 30 and be banging loud but now I have to set it at 40 to make up the difference.  Has anyone experienced this?

did u try resetting all of your settings?? The battery dying makes your memory wire have no current losing all your settings.  Reset to all your settings prior to it dying.
