Hows it going?

I did the same thing to my MarkViii a year and a half ago, fully rewired the factory JBL system.

I left the rear factory speakers in and hooked them up to an Alpine amp, and put Infinity Kappa 6x8's in the front. I also custom installed Infinity component 6.5" woofers in the center console, and put the matching tweeters in the original JBL tweeter spots. Let me tell you that it is a lot of work trying to track down all the colours of ever tweeter and woofer, and then running all new wire to the back to splice in. The car is now for sale really cheap.
