i have 2 kicker comp 12's and a blackmaxx 700watt amp and everything was working fine until i decided to build me a new box. The new box is bigger but now something is not working. whenever i hook up everything, the subs just hit by themselves. when i turn up the music they'll work fine but whenever i turn the car off they keep hitting until the amp powers off.

I've tried 4 different amps and one of them won't even come on, one makes the subs just constantly pound nonestop, one didn't  do anything and then theresmine. so does anyone have any ideas what it could be? I just got done wiring my car again so i know its not that and the subs looked fine.

Unplug your RCAs from your amp. This will tell you whether it's an amp problem or a source problem. Let us know what happens.

k, i removed them and it quit messing  up. the RCA's aren't near a power wire or anything, so that can't be the problem can it?

Sounds like the next step would be to throw in a new set of RCAs. I have heard of this problem being fixed with just a new set of RCAs. Give it a go and let us know how it works!!!

If your counting pennies and dimes then maybe you shouldn't be spending every penny and dime you have!!

Turn your gain down and then set it correctly.  Try using the Search engine on the forum.
