recently bought a type r 15 inch sub... looking to install it in a 2004 toyota tacoma... curently i have it in a 2.25 cuft sealed box but want to go vented.  i do not know how to figure it out and are round vents better than slot ports...

workable dimensions 46 " wide, 20 " height and 12 " in depth... can someone with some experience please help me out.. i want it tuned between 30 - 35 hz,,,,,,

thanks in advance.....

check this site, you can enter the dimensions, desired tuning frequency and your woofer parameters it may help you out to build your own vented enclosure, just fill your numbers and hit the Calculate Panel Dimensions button, and it will draw the box for you with the rest of the dimensions making it easier for you, hope it help you a bit.

in my opinion slot or round ports are the same i personaly think slots look better but if you build them the same cubic inches there the same size technicaly. also round pvc ports to me sound like they get alot of port noise compared to slot ports
