I need to know how to wire my 15" 4 ohm DVC treos to ym rockford amp, and still have the amp bridged. I got two rockford 450S amps (one for each treo), and they can't be bridged at 2 0hms. The diagram from the12volt says that if i wire them in series they will present an 8 ohm load to the amp. It also says that it will work on an amp that is stable at 4, 2, or 1 ohm mono. My amp is stable at 4 ohm mono, so should I wire the Voice coils in series?

Yep. That's all ya got. Wire 'em in series for 8 ohms, and bridge the amp, presenting 4 ohms per channel.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I made my question a little more complicated than it should have been. I meant:

i am going to be running one sub for each amp, and they are two channel amps. stable bridged at 4 ohms. would i be able to run an 8 ohm load on the amp when it is bridged?

Yes. 8 ohms, connected to a bridged amp, is the SAME thing, electrically, as 4 ohms per channel. This is perfectly safe to do.

Thank you very much! That cleared up a lot of confusion.
