ok here is a big question i have. i have 3 pioneer ts-w126dvc's run at .5 ohms to a ma audio amp and it is hitting 150.8db's and i want to get rid of these pioneers and get some better subs but i dont kno witch ones to get. and i dont want to break the bank. so does anyone kno any subs that are loud as hell but arnt going to cost me an arma nd a leg? i was thinkin maybe the tw-s3000dvc's or maybe some w3v2's but i dont kno what is gonna be the loudest. it ia an 1800 watt rms amp also.
it is a hk401sx ma audio amp that puts out 1800 rms and i want 3 subs and i havent determind the amount i want to spend just yet so thats why im asking for help. the box that they are going to go in is a ported box with 1.60 cubic feet of air space for each sub.

So how much are you willing to spend? How many subs?
What car do you have?
Also can u tell us the specs of your amp? Model number?
My friends 2 12L7s in a "universal" vented box and a Memphis 1000D hit 157.
Peace
Ok 157db is a little far fetched, unless it is on a very old outdated meter.
I am asuming you have actually ran on a term-lab or Audiocontrol 190 meter? USaci? Db Drag?
If you are looking for loud, you cant beat the Kicker L7's for the Price range right now.
We ran a memphis 2000d with 2 l7's in a civic coupe, yes a trunk car. It did 153.1db at a USACi show. The Vids of it are on my web site to back that claim up haha

I hit 125 in a boat but then again I didn't have 4-walls to help maintain the pressure.
alright well i was not lookin into l7's just for the simple faact that i kno they can be loud as hell but not all the time. i have heard l7's be loud on some songs and then on others they arnt. plus i was looking for a circular sub not a square becsue the box is already made for my car. and i kno that l7's come round but i dont kno if they are as good or not. so any other sugjestions?
Before making a buying decision I would try educating yourself on what makes a sub loud or not, how to select subwoofers that interact best with your car for maximum spl levels, and the relationship between subwoofers and their enclosures.

Well it was in my friends eclipse where and it was at a car audio shop in the install bay with a high quality spl meter. Doctor Dashboard is the name of the shop. Pretty good shop but they suck on prices.
Post the model # of the amp so we can see if it stretching the truth about it's power rating.
