having trouble with this Vibe.  i have replaced the stock head unit with a pioneer DEH-p6800mp, but i can't get any sound out of the speakers. i hook up the factory head unit and everything works fine i triple checked the wiring and it's all right. i don't know what to do. any ideas? the Pioneer head unit turns on but no sound......?

Connect the power antenna wire (blue) in the vehicle adapter harness to the blue/white on the pioneer (amp turn on).  That should power up the factory amp.  If there's a blue/white in the adapter harness, use that instead.

It seems to me that you're not using an adapter harness to plug into your vehicle.  Doing so would be much easier.
