I am trying to install this blaupunkt indianapolis cd34 head unit. The vehicle is a 1978 jeep cj-7. I have the constant power from the battery to yellow(per install instructions). black to ground, blue to amp. What do i splice into for the accessory power? red from the head unit! I tried the radio spade in my fuse panel. it works with key on acc. or on but when i start the jeep, i get no power to cd player. The original am radio i took out only had + from battery and a ground.

That's normal to lose power while cranking.  The accessory circuit does that to give the starter as much power as possible.  If you want to retain power while cranking you need to tie into the ignition wire at the steering column.  It'll test the same as an accessory wire but it retains power when the vehicle is cranked.  Use a multimeter to test- you can get a basic one for cheap so there's really no excuse not to have one.
