DVC Subs on 2 channel amp, What Ohm load?

I understand wiring subs and series/parallel, but what I just could never find out is what Total ohm load would the amp be seeing, if there were two Dual 4 Ohm Subs, with their voice coils in parallel(a 2 ohm load from each sub) and each subs wires went straight into each channel respectively.  For instance having an amp that puts out 200 rms x 2 @ 2 ohms, and trying to hook up 2 DVC 4 ohm subs to get the most power from the amp with those subs. I know its called stereo. I hope I said all that right

possible loads with that is the following

1 ch (bridged) @ 1ohm or 4ohms
2 ch @ 2ohms per channel or 8ohms per channel

and yes, assuming that you cannot bridge the amp you would want to put each Coil from the sub in parallel with the other then to the amp. you would be using both channels of the amp...

I think you want to know how these power ratings are made.  Power output is rated per channel.  You described a two-channel output into 2 ohms per channel.  If there is 2 ohms loaded onto each channel then the amp will respond to a 2 ohm load X 2.  I guess that would mean that if it is responding to a 2 ohm load, then it "sees" a 2 ohm load.
