I worked on a 94 lexus es300 a couple of days ago.  All we did was a deck install.  The harness we used was the one with rca's.  Anyway, after the install we turn the car on and there was engine noise.  We didn't install a 4 chnl amp.  So has anyone had this problem before?

What kind of cd player did you install? If it starts with a P and ends with an R, that is more then likely your problem.

Have you tried grounding it in a diferent location? This just an idea I have only worked on a handful of lexus so I am definetly not an authority on them.
