rattles suck lets hear your system
Im 18 and I started building boxes last summer. It's actually a lot of fun doing everything yourself. Well I can tell you what I do. The materials I use are 3/4" MDF wood, caulk, liquid nails heavy duty glue, counter sink drill bit, drill bit a little less than the screw diameter, phillips head bit, drill, dry wall screws 1.5"long and table saw. I first design my box on paper. If you want your box sealed than your going to have an easier time. After you have all your cuts I start with the base and build my way up. I counter sink holes along all 4 edges of the base and then match up pieces, drill a hole about the diameter of the screw through the counter sink and into the board behind it. Then I glue between the pieces and then screw in the screws. Then I add on another piece and before you know it your done. If you have any other questions just PM me.
