what would hit harder a 500a2 fosgate or a la1990 legacy 2000watt

by the way i do have the fosgate

I am just wondering because the legacy is hella big

Legacy is Pyramid...... which is available at your local pawn shop.... (rockford almost got that way) The Rockford will be a much better amp as far as your THD and efficiency. The Rockford will also be a better amp for reliability and longevity as well as holding a higher re-sale value than the legacy. Always remember to check RMS power output when looking at wattage. Wattage is not always everything. Most cheap amplifiers put the peak power in humongous print on the box and in magazine ads, but dont be misled. You can paint a Yugo, put 20's on it, lower it, and dip all the chrome in gold, but.... IT'S STILL A YUGO!!!!!posted_image (in other words.... stay with the Rockford!!)

you dont want to go with legacy to tell you the truth legacy is a realy cheap ampstay with the fosgate

i agree with derl but i still believe its all in how you hook it up and in enclosure but brand still plays a pretty big role
