I'm scheduled to take my Basic test next week, and I'll probably do the Advanced test the following week. I have never worked in a shop, I've just been doing installs for a long time for myself and friends.

On the MECP site it says you must have worked in a shop for one year before taking the Advanced and three years before taking the Master. Do they ask for some sort of proof of this?

Also, there is no study guide for the Master test. Can anyone give me an idea of what the Master test covers beyond the Advanced test?

Thanks guys.

Yeah I know no one is going to care, but it is something I wanted to do. I've actually learned a few things from those study guides too, so no harm there.

Did you know that most antennas are 31" long because it is half of a quarter wavelength?

I sure as hell didn't. posted_image

They can require proof for advanced and I think they do require a notarized statement for the master.
