I was wondering if it would hurt anything to use both sets of post on my optima yellowtop. My car uses the side posts on the battery, and I was wondering if i could connect the 0 gauge secondary wires from upgrading my big three to the top posts. I dont think that it would hurt using both sets, but I figured I would ask anyway. Also when running my secondary wires from the alt to the battery am I bypassing the voltage regulator?

Go right ahead and use both posts, nothing wrong with that at all. Most regulators are built into the alternator, ensure that your vehicle is one of them. Make sure that this secondary wire is also fused.

Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Thanks for the reply, no my vehicle does not have the regulator built into the alternator, so im guesing I should have the new wires go to the v-regulator then the battery
