Hi,

I bought the wrong type of iPod adaptor for my 99 Dodge Neon, the one I bought has square molex plug and my stereo has round 8-pin din socket to connect to the cd changer - has anyone got a pinout for either, please? I believe it's the same for Dodge / Chrysler / Jeep. I'm happy to re-wire the plug from sqare to round.

your better off trying to exchange plug as you could possible burn of one or both devices

I'd still give it a try, if done properly it should work, shouldn't it? It was an eBay purchase and I've seen adaptors from one plug to another going for $50...
