Hi all,

I am helping a friend with an install. He wants to keep his stock deck for the time being, so that means he'll have to cut into the factory harness, right? What my question is... How do I hook into a line level for just subwoofers? It's got to do something with a filter setup, I'm sure. To keep costs down, he's buying this amp: https://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=lanvibe238&store=&catid=306

Could ya'll take a look and let me know what I'll need to look into to get this workin for him? Thanks again everybody!

Man, you ain't kidding about keeping costs down. Tell him to dish out a little more for a good amp and he'll be happier in the end.

Here are the LOC's that the guys on here usually recommend. I'll be using one next week in an install.

Lol, yeah i'd recommend that he save up a bit more and get a better amp...I mean 60 buck for an amp is doodie...You get what you pay for.

Umm no he shouldn't have to splice into the wiring harness. Most any local audio shop or Crutchfield and maybe even autozone sells wire harness that plug into your factory one. From that harness you can splice and dice all you want. Don't butcher your stock harness if you can help it.
