hopefully someone knows about the 2000 mits. Eclipse w/ the infiniti in dash 4 cd changer! It has a amp under the pass. seat connected with a black cd changer type signal wire to the amp as well! Which is the best way to hardwire it to runn off the PAC converter! OR is there a metra harness that will do for this installation! The radio has a built in compressor also, and I dont know it its comeing from the radio or is it in the amp itself! if you have tackeled one of these, plese help an installer out! it would be greatly appriciated! Thanks......

also: do you know why the RF(+) Yl/Bl  and RF(-) Gry/Bl  popps the rear right when checked for location!? I might have a backwards pieced together car? iono

What kind of PAC adapter are you talking about?  And what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Well, by me adding a (PAC) L.O.C I am of course adding amp's(sorry about that)......and i am trying to accomplish that after totally haveing to take apart most of the car to figure out that this vhicle was in a flood and the dealership who replaced and put in the new amps, computer, power seats, etc..replaced and put new wires, but they DID NOT match the wireing diagrams for that infiniti sound systems w/4 CD in dash 2000 Mits eclipse GT! the only set of wires that matched the speaker wire diagram for this vehicle were the front left componet on the dr.door! Front Right wires were going to Right Rear.???HuH...that's what i said!Oh well, learn and write this one down folks! All people make mistakes and I am haveing to pay for someone elses learning curve at the dealership! Dammit I hate to be that ONE! hehehehe ....One more for the "Oh have you ever ran into a car with all the wires switched around an you don't know what was wrong": It CAn HAPPEN TO YOU!!! live and learn........I always use multimeters, (thanks for mentioning)but I use the word popp to give a better description of what I am doing. I am also trying to bypass the factory sound-system, because of the built in compressor that kick on after the radio is turned up past a certain volume! It seems to flatten the sound, of course,.....it's doing its job, so i need to by-pass it totally but get a signal to the LOC. It has unique set up, but hey its the factory infiniti....There just isn't much info for the wire schematics on the factory wireing and what each harness is and location to get access to?well, I havent found it yet? But I will figure it out......It's my job!posted_image
