i want to make some sets of some 5 pin din to 2 rca's, like the ones used on the older orion amps and ppi amps,

here is the orion 5 pin din config. but trying figure out which rca side gets the correct connections:

1. pin 1 com.

2. pin 2 com.

3. 5v  (not used by xo/eq)

4. -12v 300ma

5. +12 300ma

i know the commons with be going to the outer rca jacket, but the -/+ 12 volts, do not know which side gets it left or right.

How does it go back into the amp or whatever you are plugging it into?  And, whats 12v negative?  The common is the ground correct?  And if it is, whats 12v negative, other than a piece of metal?

sorry for the confusion, the about 5 pin din config was setup for ' phantom power' when certain units with din to din was used the power plug was left out and the power and signal was supplied thru the din , but when the power plug is used the din plug 'phantom power'  feature is overrided and because mere frequency signals.  anyways made my own set today, ain't paying nobody 25 bucks for something that can be made for couple bucks.
