It's not a good idea to mount your amp to the roof as it won't dissipate heat as good.  If it'll go under your seat, you may look into that.  You may want to look into some other amps as well.  Volfenhag does not make a high quality product.  Look into some better known brands.

What is the exact model of your amp? Is that L7 dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm?

roof is a bad Idea for many reasons. Hard to mount, hard to wire, wont disapate heat properly, and sorry if this offends you but I think it would just look flat out stupid as well. Cant you put it behind your seat on the back wall?

ive seen a kicker show car that was a singe cab ute/pickup that had all the kicker amps moulded into the roof of the car and it looked kick ass, heat dispersion and eventaully frying the amp would be a major worry though

Mount it how you want it...if it looks cool than go for it...If overheating is an issue get a 12V fan.

They way this truck had it done was a fibreglass amp rack that was moulded to the contours of the kicker amps, and was all painted up, i assume they could secure the base of the amprack to the metal roof and then have like a removable cover so you could take the amps in and out and that somehow bloted or secured on
