Has anybody heard anything about fusions new line of equipment? Im thinking about getting 2 12" Fusion PPSW12H subwoofers and aFusion PPAM20001 amplifier. Well I got 2 12" Fusion PowerPlants in a ported to 37hz box. And each chamber in the box giving 2.2 cuft! pushed by a Audiobahn A8002V amp all in a GMC sonoma ext cab! The system now is wired into 4ohm mono! and if i got this new system id wire it into 1ohm! which setup do you people think would get louder and hit harder! need some opinions! thanks everybody!

So are you basically looking for a loud ass system?
If so there are a lot of other options but if your a fusion guy than go for it.

I have been talking alot with someone who works for a shop who's biggest line is fusion.....I have heard alot of good things for street use, and I have seen them get really loud in a competition style setup, but they trend to self destruct around max power....A down side for me, but all in all a decent product...
I have heard of some stores having trouble getting new stock in this year..so I havent seen any of the brand new stuff, but should in the following weeks, and should get some hands on time with it

Please refer to your LAST thread... Here.
If you like the Fusion stuff, great! Go for it! That's pretty much the opinion EVERYBODY here is going to give you. ------------- It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Just remember that if the shop's biggest line is Fusion, then of course they are going to make it sound like it is the best stuff since sliced bread.
Go to other shops and listen to some different brands and see what sounds best to you.
But if you are more interested in looks and neon green is your thing, then by all means get some Fusion subs.

I really dont know if they will get any louder, on the same amount of power as the old ones. I am almost sure they will not, as they are much beffier by the specs, and will take more power to push them to thier limits, mainly the big factor is the lower SPL 1W/1M
If you plan to upgrade your amp to better match the new line of subs, then I would almost be certian they will be louder.
But word of advice, Im not 100% sure, but I think Fusion, alphasonic, and audiobahn are all ownder by the same company and all made by the same manafacturer in china. Very very likely, but now 100% on that yet.
If you are happy with the product you have now then I would go ahead an try to look for a shop that has the products in stock and maybe has a few products installed into cars already. The only shops I know that carry them are located around here ( Missouri ) But thier might be something on the fusion website that has a dealer locater.

no one has really gotten a chance to test this equipment yet. production has had just a few delays, which can be expected when you redesign and have to retool for your whole line. as far as other companies that are involved with fusion, there are none. fusion is owned by the McNall family, not another company. they arent involved with alphasonic and such.
