I've already purchased these speakers, got a good deal $90.. Rockford Fosgate Power T1692C RMS=100w@4ohm

And I`m currently searching for an amp to power these speakers..So far I've found this one to match up pretty nicely..

Rockford Fosgate Punch P4002 RMS=100wx2@4ohms

Now is this overkill for those speakers, or would it work perfect?

Considering that your most important speakers are the front ones, why on earth would you want to throw maximum output to the rears? Spend that money on good front speakers (components ideally) and throw that much power to them. You don't go to a concert and have the band sing from behind you all night. Front stage, rear fill.
