Hello, I have tried two different SIR-PNR1 tuners and I still have the same issue. The AVIC-D1 head unit is recognizing that the tuner is connecting because it is available in the source menu, but where it should display the song title, it just scrolls the word "SIRIUS".

I can't imagine that I've been the only one with this issue.

I called Pioneer and they seem to think it is the Sirius tuner, but I have the same problem with two different tuners. Any ideas? I pressed the rest button on the AVIC-D1 unit, but that didn't help. Is there some kind of way to do a "hard reset"?

Thanks!

I don't know if it is the same with sirius, but with the xm tuner boxes you have to use a different unit for the high end hesd units. (N1,N2,D1,D2)

Thanks for your reply...

This sirius receiver did work for about 3 months or so and I got in the car one morning and it just wouldn't tune into any stations which is where I am now.  Anyone possibly in the Baltimore area that can test the tuner in their shop or car for me to see if the tuner really is bad?
