Hey guys i've got a few quick questions.  I'm getting ready to install my 4-channel amplifier in my car to power all 4 of my speakers.  I'm getting ready to go buy the wire and RCA cables but though of something.  What do I do with the old wires that were hooked up to the stock speakers?

well generally you would leave them and connect your speaker wires going to amp to a aftermarket harness behind the radio. if you want to each location and ran wires. it will take longer obviously. however if you do it than just cable tie the old wire and leave them there. so that you can reverse the install if you ever wanted to .

do your self a favor just run four wires to the back of the radio area as you will not experience sound loss by doing so. its easy and in one place. hope this helps like a 12 guage wire will be good

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
