i have a single cab truck and would like to use a large displacment subwoffer. would it effect the sound quality if the sub put in a center counsole was facing the passenger side rather then being behind the seats.

what type of sub are we talking about?     If you can list the TS paremeters then we could tell you if your could build a downfire enclosuer for the sub.    typically subs need something to reflect the sound off of to sound proper....not always but generally speaking they do.

Do you have enough room to downfire the sub if the sub is capable of it?

i was going to use a elemental designs 16ov.2 but now im thinking about downfiring 2 10" or 12" subs. can the 11k.2  or 13kv.2 be downfired. https://edesignaudio.com/
